3.         Area                                        :            6.5 sq.km.

 

4.            Communication                    :            Connected by            all weather road to Angul (40

km) the Dist. Headquarters and to Talcher town (45 km). The railhead – Talcher and Angul are nearly at equal distances.

 

5.            Physiography                        :            Topography : Exhibits a gently undulating

topography with slope towards north-east

                                                                        Maximum elevation : 133.55 m above MSL.

                                                                        Minimum elevation : 105.00m above MSL

                                                                        Draingage pattern : Dendritic pattern

controlled by Bankuti Nala

 

6.            Human Settlement              :            The village Luchamarha comes under

Mandakini-A block.

 

7.         Forest                                     :            1.43 sq.km area is covered with open mixed

jungle in the south-western, west central and north-eastern part of Mandakini-A block.
