Reference is invited to the Advertisement issued
on the Website of Ministry of Coal on 10.06.2008 (also published in
the major national newspapers), inviting applications for allocation
of coal blocks for CTL project. It
has now been decided to add two more coal blocks for allocation viz North of Arkhapal –Srirampur block, and Ramchandi Promotional block in Talcher Coalfield,
Distt. Angul, Orissa in addition to the block already advertised (Palasbani- Part of area West of Radhikapur). The applicants shall get the right to mining
concession for only 1500 Million
Tonnes (MT) of coal reserves from the
Arkhapal coal block. The area
equivalent to 1500 MT of reserves shall be identified by the applicant
based on the geological data of the block. It may, however be noted that demarcation of identified /
selected portion shall be done in transverse manner and not along the longitudinal direction, that
is, not along the total strike length of the block. The applicants
are requested to submit their applications indicating the order of preference
for these three coal blocks. |
